Choral Art Society of New Jersey Concert Rescheduled to February 1. Due to the recent winter storm that impacted communities across New Jersey and beyond, the Choral Art Society of New Jersey’s January 25, 2026 concert, The Cohort: Exploring the shared musical lineage of great English composers, was rescheduled to Sunday, February 1, 2026. The concert will begin at 3 p.m. and take place at The Presbyterian Church in Westfield, 140 Mountain Avenue. All previously purchased ticket sales will be honored for the new date of February 1. Online ticket sales have been extended through Friday, January 30, at 11:59 p.m. ET. This includes the $30 advance discounted ticket for seniors (65+) and students (18+) and the $35 general admission ticket. Tickets can also be purchased at the door at the price of $35 for all. Choral Art Society of New Jersey Open Rehearsal – New singers of all levels who have choral singing experience are welcome to attend an Open Rehearsal on Tuesday, February 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall Chapel of The Presbyterian Church in Westfield, 140 Mountain Avenue. Plan to arrive early to meet members of the group and speak with Music Director Seth Velez. No formal auditions are conducted. Attending the open rehearsal is an excellent way to learn more about the repertoire for the May 3rd concert which will feature Jose Mauricio Nunes Garcia’s Requiem Mass, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Little Organ Mass, and a sampling of Mozart’s opera choruses.
