Singers Invited to Join Choral Art Society of NJ for Open Rehearsals on Tuesdays, September 9 and September 16. Experienced choral singers of all levels are invited to attend open rehearsals for Choral Arts Society of NJ’s first concert of the 2025/2026 season. Rehearsals begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall Chapel of The Presbyterian Church in Westfield, 140 Mountain Avenue, Westfield. New singers are encouraged to arrive at 7 p.m. to meet Music Director Seth Velez and current choir members. The January concert, The Cohort, will explore the interpersonal and artistic connections of many of the great 20th Century English choral composers. It will feature works for full chorus, women’s chorus and a chamber ensemble. Open rehearsals are an opportunity to learn more about this welcoming group, meet current members, and consider joining. Garwood Library Events. September 10 from 10 am to Noon – Union County Division of Aging Staff will be on hand to assist seniors (age 60+) or their caregivers with information on services, such as meal delivery, respite care, adult day care and support services for caregivers. Fanwood Concerts. Live music returns to Fanwood’s Carriage House on Saturday, September 13 with a doublebill featuring singer-songwriter Brooke Annibale and soulful rockers Sarah Hodd & The Drive. The show starts at 7 p.m. in the cozy listening room of the Kuran Cultural Arts Center (a.k.a. the Carriage House), at 135 Watson Road, just west of Martine Avenue on the grounds of Fanwood Borough Hall. The suggested donation for admission is $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors – cash at the door.

Sinatra Night. The Greater Westfield UNICO Chapter invites the community to an unforgettable evening of music, camaraderie, and charitable giving at Frank Sinatra Night on Wednesday, October 1 at The Crossroads in Garwood, presented by Northfield Bank. Enjoy a live performance celebrating the timeless songs of Frank Sinatra while supporting a great cause. Tickets are $50 per person cover charge for the event, with proceeds directly benefiting UNICO local scholarships and community initiatives. UNICO is a 501c3 Organization.
