St. Ignatius Pulls Away From St. Francis Softball Men, 11-2

St. Francis, presently the “Little Dogs” in the cellar of the St. Bart’s Oldtimers Men’s Softball League, took on the “Big Dogs” of St. Ignatius, who have solid footing at the top of the ladder, at Brookside Park in Scotch Plains on August 7. St. Francis held its own for the first four innings but the “Big Dogs” gradually pulled away to claim an 11-2 victory.
