I was incredulous reading Garwood Councilman’s alleged clinical analysis of Garwood’s mindset that the residents are full of “hostility” and “intimidation.” Being here only for 2 ½ years, he impetuously concludes. With my 25+ years of being involved with Garwood, attending around 99 percent of council meetings since 1997, serving on many boards and committees, speaking, and writing letters to the governing body (all actions that Councilman Foley suggests), my conclusion is that there is a groundswell of dissatisfaction from residents of our present borough leadership. Of course, serving on council, Mr. Foley wants to deflect all blame onto the vocal residents, not he and the boro government.
