Small ball, foot control and field awareness went in favor of the topseeded Westfield High School girls soccer team in its showdown with the defending champion Summit Hilltoppers for the Union County Tournament crown at AL Johnson High School in Clark on October 26. The No. 8, 14-1 Blue Devils took a 2--1 lead with 34 seconds remaining in the first half and continued to beat the 11-6-1 Hilltoppers to the punch to preserve their lead and grab their third UCT crown in four years.
