Most of my life, I have lived in Garwood. As a child, I played basketball here. I benefited from the coaching and support of neighbors, many of whom still live in town today. I am eternally grateful to them for the time, effort, and dedication they put into our town, specifically the recreation opportunities afforded Garwood’s children. Putting together a functional and engaging rec program was not easy. It never has been.
