Imagine Trains Youth; Slates Adult Session For October

PEER SUPPORT...Imagine youth facilitators gather after recently completing training to provide support to peers who are grieving the loss of someone close to them. In October, Imagine will offer a three-day training session for adults interested in becoming facilitators.

MOUNTAINSIDE/NEWARK — The staff at Imagine, A Center for Coping with Loss recently welcomed 15 new youth facilitators who participated in its two-day youth-facilitator training program in August. These high-school-age volunteers will help create safe spaces for Imagine’s young participants who are grieving the loss of someone close to them.
