CLARK -- Due to the recent heat wave and storm, blood reserves are at a critical low.According to Genevieve Toscano, manager with New Jersey Blood Services, “The excessive heat and storms last week have taken a serious toll on our blood supply. Last week,wecollectedapproximately3,000 fewer donations than expected due to weather-related closures, power outages, and disrupted blood drives.”
