From a dentist appointment gone wrong to a French Soldier-turnedcaveman, the New Jersey Independent Film Festival had it all. The event ran from June 10-13, held at The Cranford Theater. It was produced by entertainment veteran Maarten Cornelis and independent filmmaker Kris De Meester. Cranford residents Jenny Subjack Piezas, a theater producer, and Julie Sedlock Wischusen, co-owner of Stage Craft Studio, served as the festival’s hosts.
