Thilly v. Cranford Now in Judges' Hands

Katie Moen GET OFF YOUR SOAPBOX....In February of this year Resident William Thilly, who dragged a homemade wooden platform labled “soap box” up to the Cranford podium Tuesday night, was removed from a regular meeting of the Township Committee by police after refusing to abide by new bylaws that prohibit speakers or noise makers during public comment sessions.

Thilly v. Cranford Now in Judges’ Hands

CRANFORD – On March 27, the Township of Cranford proposed an Order to dismiss the case of Thilly v. The Township of Cranford, et al. Judge Evelyn Padin and Magistrate Judge Michael A. Hammer received the final written arguments from both sides on April 13 and are currently deciding which way the lawsuit will proceed.
