Blue Devils Oust Raiders, 17-2, In UCT Girls Lax Quarterfinal
Warming up with a somewhat modest 3-0 first-quarter lead, the thirdseeded Westfield High School girls lacrosse team caught fire in the second quarter with a 7-1 run and just cruised to a 17-2 victory over the sixth-seeded Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders on May 4. The game was actually contested at Scotch Plains because of the JV Union County Tournament was being held at Gary Kehler Stadium.
