WESTFIELD — The Westfield Board of Education met Tuesday to introduce its tentative budget for the 2026-27 school year, and plans to ask taxpayers for an additional $543, bringing annual school taxes to $12,464.00 per household. The district’s budget totals out to $146.7 million in expenditures, with $129.8 million in taxes to be raised. Board member Brendan Galligan was absent from the meeting.
