The fifth-seeded AL Johnson High School girls basketball team defeated the David Brearley Bears, 75-41, in the first round of the Union County Tournament in Clark on February 11. On February 14, the 18-3 Crusaders dropped a 58-44 decision to the fourthseeded, 13-10, Plainfield Cardinals in the second round.
