Blue Devils Tip Linden, 56-24 In Wrestling Season Opener
Vacancies in two weight classes initially placed the Westfield High School wrestling team at a disadvantage when it hosted the Linden Tigers the regular-season opener in Westfield on December 17, four days after competing in the Delaware Valley Wendy Pandy-Leh Invitational. After yielding two of the first three weight classes via forfeit, the Blue Devils won the next nine weight classes to secure a 56-24 victory.
