The 10th-seeded Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School girls volleyball team has been making quite a run in the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 3 playoffs. First the Raiders staggered the seventh-seeded JFK-Iselin Mustangs, 3-1, in the first round on November 4, Next, they stunned the second- seeded North Hunterdon Lions in a five-set marathon on November 6, then the 9-12 Raiders advanced to the championship round by ousting 11thseeded Belleville in three sets.
