AREA — More than 500 children in Passaic and Union counties are currently living in foster care through no fault of their own, and the number is growing as Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Passaic and Union Counties is receiving additional referrals each week. The nonprofit is calling on community members to step forward and make a difference in the lives of these vulnerable children by training as an advocate, and has scheduled a training for those able to help.
