Blue Devils Top Elizabeth, Raiders, UC Vikings in Girls V-Ball Clashes
The Westfield High School girls volleyball team had a very busy week in clashes with Union County foes and came out on top in all three matches. First, the Blue Devils endured a three-game match with the Elizabeth Minuteman on October 6 but prevailed, 25-13, 23-25, 25-18. On October 8, the Blue Devils took down the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders, 25-20, 25-18, then on October 9 in Westfield, they went three games with the Union Catholic Vikings and prevailed, 25-14, 17-25, 25-14.
