Thomas Ditto Pearsall

Thomas D. Pearsall

Thomas Ditto Pearsall, 82, formerly of Westfield, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2025, in Lititz, Pennsylvania.

Born on February 26, 1943, in New York City to the late Everson and Mary Pearsall, Tom grew up in Westfield, where he made lifelong friends and memories. He graduated from Westfield High School and later from Nichols College of Business Administration in Dudley, Massachusetts, earning his B.B.A. in Marketing.

Thomas built a career as a New Jersey banking Trust Officer. He joined Jonestown Bank & Trust Company in Pennsylvania in 2003 and retired from there in 2014.

In 1967, he married his beloved wife, Sandra, and together they shared 58 wonderful years. Thomas was known for his kindness, generosity, and practical skills—he could fix just about anything. He had a lifelong love of cars, playing golf, and had a special fondness for dogs, especially Lucy.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra, of Lititz; his son, Todd Pearsall, of Catonsville, Maryland; his daughter, Cheri Mercurio, of Bethesda, Maryland; grandchildren Alex, Austin, Amanda, Amber, Morgan, Mary, and Melissa; and great-grandchildren Asher, Max, Stone, and Skye; along with siblings Sandra Kolb, Jill Kiely-Pease, Patrice Talmage and Craig Kiely.

Tom will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey, on November 22, 2025. For additional information, please contact family directly.
