The Cranford High School girls soccer team after battling to a scoreless tie in the first half, struck gold three times to reject the Union Catholic Vikings, 3-0, at Memorial Field in Cranford on September 16. The Cougars trip to Summit, however, was less encouraging as they bowed to the Hilltoppers, 2-0, on September 18, but on September 20, they shut out Union City, 6-0.
