Wheel-spinning and sputtering offenses, bad snaps and numerous threeand- outs ruled for nearly an entire first half of the game between the Westfield High School football team and the Union Farmers at Gary Kehler Stadium in Westfield on September 20. Late in the first half, the 2-2 Blue Devils snapped the stalemate with a touchdown then added two more and a safety in the second half, while the defense made sure that the Farmers’ wheels were still spinning to emerge with a 21-0 shutout.
