Raiders’ 4th Quarter Surge Downs Zebra Gridders, 24-8

Offensive wheel spinning made spectators wonder if anybody would be able to cross the goal line in the game between the Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School football team and the New Brunswick Zebras in Scotch Plains on September 12. Finally, after both teams managed to get on the scoreboard late in the second quarter, the Raiders caught fire in the fourth quarter to overcome an 8-7 deficit and claim a 24-8 victory.
