AJ Jersey Humbles Swannies In 60+ A Division Game 2, 16-8
A different figure, who emerged on the mound, seemed to make a huge difference for the hosting AJ Jersey Boys in Game 2 of the Union County Senior 60+ A Division Men’s Softball League Championship against topseeded Swan Hotels & Suites at Memorial Field 3 in Linden onAugust 25. Pitcher Larry Stewart limited the power-packed Swannies to no breakout innings, while the AJ Jersey offense ( spotted one run per inning per League rule) kept chipping away in every inning but the first to knot the best-ofthree series with a 16-8 triumph.
