SUMMIT AREA – On Tuesday, August 19 at 9:30 a.m., The Summit Area Old Guard will welcome Robert Alexander, Executive Director of the Paterson Counseling Center, Inc., who will speak on treatments for those addicted to drugs. Alexander will discuss the use of methadone and buprenorphine, forms of medication- assisted treatment, as well as challenges presented by the AIDS epidemic and Hepatitis C.
