GARWOOD – Last week three bike racks were installed in Garwood in the latest phase of the Borough Bicycle and Pedestrian master plan implementation. Purchased and donated by the Garwood Police Benevolent Association (PBA) Local 117, the racks have been installed at Borough Hall, the base of the eastbound (NY) side of the train station steps, and the North Ave nue/Center Street bus station shelter. These sites were chosen to provide ease for residents visiting Boro Hall to take care of boro business, shop/eat downtown, and to coordinate modes of transportation.
