SOM 11U Cougars Break Out To Jolt Westfield White, 18-11
Home plate suffered many scuff marks when the Westfield 11U White hosted the South Orange-Maplewood (SOM) Cougars in a New Providence Green League game at Gumbert Field 2 in Westfield on July 17. After a relatively reasonable first three innings, both teams went on a scoring spree but the SOM Cougars came out on top in five innings, 18-11.
