WF 12U Blue Jolts Cranford In Cal Ripken, Jr. States, 7-5

Cranford Blue had a chance of securing a top seed in Pool A and the Westfield Blue had an outside chance of securing a Pool A seed for the Cal Ripken, Jr. 12U State playoff round when the two rivals met at Gumbert Field 2 in Westfield on July 8. After the Cranford Blue rallied to eventually knot the score in the top of the fifth inning, Westfield Blue answered with two runs in the bottom of the inning then held on to secure a 7-5 victory and the Pool A second seed.
