WESTFIELD — With a little extra time, attention and teamwork, a group of Westfield elementaryschool students carried away coin purses from their recent sewing class. This was not just any group of girls; however, they were brought together by their unique interest in learning to sew and their interest in learning about each other. Rising Westfield High School senior and Girl Scout Emily Christiansen organized the class to bring neurotypical and neurodivergent kids together.
