B-burg 12U Tops Berkeley Hts. In Cal Ripken, Jr. States, 10-7

Patience paid off for the Branchburg (B-burg) 12U baseball team in its third game of Pool B play against Berkeley Heights during the Cal Ripken, Jr. State Tournament at Gumbert Field 2 in Westfield on July 9. Trailing 3-1 when rain halted the game in the bottom of the second inning on July 8, B-burg stepped up the offense to earn a 10-7 victory and the Pool B top seed for the playoff round.
