No. 7 Blue Devil Laxers Edge No. 16 Pope John XXIII, 11-10
Stepping back into the fire zone after a relatively easy, 19-8, win over the hosting Bernards Mountaineers on May 22, the No. 7 Westfield High School boys lacrosse team had quite an afternoon against the No. 16 Pope John XXIII Lions at Gary Kehler Stadium in Westfield on May 24. The showdown turned out to be a bit of a tug of war but the Blue Devils turned out to have slightly more tug to pull out an 11-10 victory.
