Cougar Lax Girls Felled by Spartans; Rout ALJ Crusaders in UCT 1st Round
The Sparta girls lacrosse team came to Memorial Field in Cranford on April 30 and delivered a 14-5 defeat upon the Cranford Cougars. In the first round of the Union County Tournament on May 2, the seventh-seeded Cougars delivered a 15-3 setback to the 10th-seeded AL Johnson Crusaders in Cranford.
