ALJ Crusaders Blank Blue Devils, 7-0; Defeat Brearley Bears in Softball, 8-4
Recovering well from their 10-inning loss to Scotch Plains-Fanwood on April 25, the AL Johnson High School softball Crusaders edged Colts Neck, 2-1, in the Black & Gold Invitational on April 27 and the Bayonne Bees, 6-1, on April 28. The next day, the Crusaders shut out the Westfield Blue Devils, 7-0, in Westfield. Their streak was increased to four straight and record to 14-2 on May 1 in Clark with an 8-4 victory over the Brearley Bears.
