The Spring 2025 Birding Walk, with Pete Axelrod, will be held on Saturday, May 10, at 8 a.m. Mr. Axelrod is a lifelong naturalist with a background in wildlife biology. Online registration for first-time participants opens Wednesday, April 30. Registration for all begins on Saturday, May 3.

A Lecture on the History of New Jersey Cemeteries is planned for Sunday, May 18, at 2 p.m. Online registration for all opens Thursday, May 8.

The Historic Notables Walking Tour, led by Meg Wastie, will be presented on Sunday, June 1, at 2 p.m. Ms. Wastie has a background in teaching and a degree in Museum Professions. Online registration for first-time participants opens on Thursday, May 22. Registration for all begins on Sunday, May 25.

When registration is open, interested persons can register for any of these events from the Event Registration page: https:// friendsoffairview1.org/registration/ . Additional details about the events also are available by visiting the Event Calendar: https:// friendsoffairview1.org/events/.

Because there are sometimes cancellations, a wait list has been set up. If an event has already reached capacity, individuals will be prompted to add their name to the wait list. If spots become available (sometimes it happens very lastminute), those on the wait list will be contacted as soon as possible.
