As The Westfield Foundation celebrates 50 years of fostering positive change, its commitment to education and economic opportunity remains strong. Through a recent grant, The Foundation is supporting Junior Achievement of New Jersey (JANJ) in providing 500 students in Union County with handson career exploration and financial literacy programs.

JANJ serves students in low- to middle-income school communities, helping them develop essential skills for long-term financial stability and career success. This grant will fund over 1,500 hours of career readiness workshops, including JA Inspire, JA BizTown, and JA Finance Park, where students gain real-world experience in financial decision-making and employability skills and receive mentorship on career pathways and financial independence. These programs not only help young people connect classroom learning to real-world applications but also empower them to achieve economic mobility — contributing to stronger, healthier communities.
