Blue Devil Girls Rout Piscataway In NJ 2, Group 4 Hoops, 64-32
Control of the boards and a stubborn defensive performance was needed for the home team when the second-seeded Westfield High School girls basketball team entertained the seventh-seeded Piscataway Chiefs in the quarterfinal round of the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 4 Tournament on March 3. The Blue Devils did just that, contained the Chiefs’ key scoring threats, controlled the boards and added a successful offensive scheme to emerge with a convincing, 64-32, triumph.
