Patricia E. Joyce In Loving Memory

Patricia Ellen “Pat” Joyce, 71, of Amherst, Mass., passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from breast cancer. She was born in Manhattan, N.Y., on December 5, 1953 to the late Pierce John and Annette (Franc) Joyce. Pat graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. She went on to study Craniosacral Therapy at the Upledger Institute. Pat worked as an Occupational Therapist and also furthered her studies in Biosynchronistics at Quality Physical Therapy.

Following her graduation from the University of New Hampshire, Pat resided in Vancouver for a few years before moving to Montana, where she built a one-room cabin that she was especially proud of. Pat was an avid bicyclist and rode her bike extensively across the landscapes, notably riding through the Canadian Rockies. Her other interests included contra dancing, kayaking, hiking and travel. Besides her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Joyce. She will be dearly missed by her devoted longtime partner, Raymond Audette; brother, Pierce Joyce, and his wife, Loretta, of Westfield, N.J.; niece, Victoria Dunst, and her husband, Adam, of San Francisco, Calif.; nephew, Jack Joyce, and his wife, Megan, of Washington, N.J.; niece, Madeline Joyce of Brooklyn, N.Y., as well as two grandnieces, two grandnephews, and many dear friends and clients. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
