Cougars Zoom Past Spartans In Mat Home Opener, 47-23
Favorable match-ups for the visitors in the lower weight classes set up an interesting beginning in the home opener between the Cranford High School wrestling team and the Immaculata Spartans in Cranford on December 17. But once the match got into the upper seven weight classes, the walls came tumbling down for the Spartans in a 47-23 Cranford triumph.
