We applaud Governor Murphy for signing into law last week the Freedom to Read Act, which prohibits public schools and libraries from banning books and also protects librarians from legal hassles. It’s a shot in the arm for personal and academic freedom and a shot across the bow to those extremists who’ve seen fit to personally and professionally attack public servants.
