Chanukah Lego Night, Temple Sholom’s annual Chanukah Lego Night showcases one of the largest collections of Legos in Scotch Plains. Participants are welcome to build as many Lego creations as their hearts desire, while reveling in dreidel games, Chanukah music, lighting the menorah, and getting to know the Sholom family. The event, Thursday, December 19 from 6 to 7:30 p.m., is free and open to all. Space is limited. Christmas Tree Disposal, Westfield High School Band and Choir Christmas Tree Disposal Service set to take place on Sunday, January 5. Westfield High School Band and Choir will once again be holding its popular Christmas tree pick up fundraiser. Proceeds will go directly towards supporting educational and meaningful musical experiences for band and choir students at Westfield High School. High school music students will remove the tree from curbside and transport to the conservation center for recycling. This service is available to Westfield residents at $20 per tree. Additional donations are greatly appreciated. Checks should be made to WHS Music and cash is accepted. Reservations can be made by Friday, December 27 by visiting www.westfieldxmastree.com.After registering online, all payments must be mailed to Westfield High School Band & Choir; ATTN Chris Vitale; 550 Dorian Road, Westfield, NJ 07090.
