Estate Sale Fundraiser to Take Place Nov. 15 and 16

MOUNTAINSIDE — The Mountainside Restoration Committee’s MRC Estate Sales division will conduct an Estate Sale to raise funds for the maintenance and restoration of the historic Deacon Andrew Hetfield House and Levi Cory House. The sale will be held on Friday and Saturday, November 15 and 16, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Numbers will be given out at 9 a.m. (no early birds). This event will take place in Mountainside and the address will be announced today, Thursday, November 14. Purchases are limited to cash only. This sale will feature an extensive collection of vintage Southwest Indian jewelry, including a silver squash blossom necklace; silver Concho belt; many necklaces, bracelets, rings, etc., most containing turquoise; 14-karat cross; 14-karat medal, pin, etc.; signed lithographs; a collection of 1950’s Lionel Trains; American Girl Dolls, clothing, etc.; specialty Barbie dolls, all in mint condition with boxes; glassware; china; Lenox; new Maytag washer and dryer; furniture, garden tools, plus many miscellaneous items.

MRC Estate Sales are conducted by trusted volunteer antiques experts and estate sale professionals with more than 30 years of estate-sale experience. A percentage of this sale’s proceeds will benefit the Mountainside Restoration Committee.

MRC Estate Sales was created to give back to the community and raise additional funds to help preserve and restore local history. The commission percentage of sales goes directly to the Mountainside Restoration Committee, Inc., which is a 501(c)3 charity.

The Mountainside Restoration Committee is a committee of volunteers whose purpose is to restore and maintain the DeaconAndrew Hetfield and Levi Cory Houses and to collect and save historic information and items from destruction.
