FIRSTHAND LOOK...Students enrolled in the Anatomy & Physiology classes at Arthur L. Johnson High School in Clark had the opportunity to explore the medical field up close by attending “Nursing Camp” at Trinitas Hospital during the summer. Participants were introduced to multiple categories of patient care, including being allowed to shadow nurses and doctors and witnessing actual procedures and surgeries. The program is designed to familiarize students with medical professions and to help them decide if such careers are right for them.

Eleven ALJ Students Attend ‘Nursing Camp’
CLARK — Eleven students from Bernadette Jacobi’s Anatomy & Physiology classes at Arthur L. Johnson High School in Clark were selected to attend a “Nursing Camp” program at Trinitas Hospital this summer. This program is a unique opportunity for students to get a taste of what it is like to work in the medical field and to help them determine if this is a career pathway that they are truly passionate about.
