St. Anthony Blanks St. Fran; Strut to Championship Game
Determined to be recognized as the top dog in the St. Bart’s Oldtimers Men’s Softball League, the St. Anthony men decided to have no mercy on St. Francis in the elimination bracket final round at Brookside Park in Scotch Plains on August 28. St. Anthony pitcher Mike Kozlowski was at the top of his game and so were several of his teammates, which resulted in a 10-0 shutout and a trip to get revenge against St. Vincent on Labor Day for the crown.
