Swan Hotel 10, Deegan Roofing 4 In the opening game, of this best of three 60s “A” Division Championship Final, Deegan Roofing held a 41 lead heading into the fifth inning when the Swan bats finally came to life. The Swannies scored nine runs over the next two innings while pitcher Doug Fischer blanked the Deegan offense in the final three frames to capture the 10-4 victory. Hitting stars for the Swannies were Tom Ulichny and Marty Marks who were both 3 for 3 on the night. Tom Baldowski and Fischer added two hits each in the win. For the Roofers, John Rachko pitched an excellent game and Felix Velez had 3 hits.
