Suspenders 16, Angry Joe’s 5 After 3 innings, Suspenders would have a 12-1 lead behind the stellar pitching of Carl Herman and solid defense all around. Suspenders Herman (3-for-4, 3b, HR, 3RS, 2 RBI), all but one player contributed 2 hits. Tad Pools – Kevin Robinson (HR) and Joe Kilburg had 3 hits each.

Phenom Boyz 19, Echo Tap 18 The hotly contested game saw 5 lead changes. Leading the Barmen were Chris Paternostro and Bobby Pells (each HR); Eddie Engram and Cruz Moctezuma (each 3-for-3); Chad Eisenberger and Joe Sheridan (each 3-for-4).

Deegan Roofing 13, K-Squad 5 Pitcher John Deitch (outstanding game); Kevin Spellman, Damon Roth (each 3-3) and Nelson Santiago (34); Walt Patrylo and Donnie Perkins each delivered numerous strong infield plays.

Rocky’s Bar & Grill 23, Terawulf 21 Trailing 14-5 after 4 innings, Terawulf tied the score at 15 after 6 innings. Both teams traded runs in the 8th but Rocky’s plated 7 in the 9th and held Terawulf to 5 runs in the 9th. Terawulf – Sammy Bori (4-for-4); Diego Elliot, Sean Dolan, Jaime Reyes, Oswaldo Dominguez (2 triples) and Benny Elliot had 3 hits apiece, Ray Mora (2 HRs). Rocky’s Laquan (Fu) Gray (4-5, HR, 5RBI), Dennis Maluchnik (4-4, 3RS, 2RBI); Dave Grandmaison (4-5, 2RBI); Rick Knierim, Bob Howlett, Matt Walsh and Frank Mastrocola (all 3-for-4); Greg Solomon and Tom DiGregorio (each 3-for-5); Craig Michaud (HR, 3RBI) and Lou Mastropasqua (2 hits apiece).

Thirsty Turtle 27, AJ Jersey 26 Thirsty Turtle snapped with a big 8-run bottom of the 7th to claim victory. A big HR by Tom Klein got things started, followed by a booming 3-run double by John Fiore, along with the game-winning hit by Carl Gamba. Turtles (32 hits) – Anthony Muzzicato (4 hits, 4 runs); Steve Owens and Carl Gamba (4 hits, 5 RBI apiece); John Fiore, Brian Tye and Nick Pace (each contributed 3 hits). AJ Jersey – Ray Luciano (HR) and Alan Dente had 6 hits each; Don Sheey, Jesus Santiago (5 hits apiece), Vinny Cordaro (HR, 4 hits).

Terawulf 18, Angry Joe’s 15 The T-Wulves took an 18-11 lead after five innings then held off a late attack. Pitcher Arnaldo Calderon (3for-3), Sammy Morla (3-for-4, HR, 3B), Ray Mora (3 hits), Ivan Rosa (solid shortstop, 3 hits). Angry Joe’s/ Tad Pools – Mike Ciaccio (HR) and Steve DAmato (each 4 hits), Matt Kasper and Anderson Monzon (3 hits apiece); Kevin Robinson, Erik Dunn and Dave Dudas (2 hits each).

Deegan Roofing 25, Thirsty Turtle 11 Deeganators – Donnie Perkins (55), Charlie Collins (5-6, HR), Nelson Santiago (5-6), and Damon Roth (45, HR). John Segledi (season debut on mound, picked up the win, several excellent defensive plays). Thirsty Turtle (19 hits) – Carl Gamba (3 hits, 4RBI); Jim Capizzi, Tom Klein, Nick Pace, Dave Pringle, Juan Moreno (2 RBI), Chris Kaminski (2 RBI) and John Fiore (3 RBI) all added 2 hits.

Douglas VW 20, Rocky’s Bar 19 Douglas – Frank Padovano (4 hits, 2 HRs, the 2nd tied the game), Lou Rivera and Geno Antonucci (4 hits each and both shut down defense); Chris Yee, Farlan Alusik, Hector Munoz and Rich Gaul (all with 3 hits), Billy Buteau (HR). Rocky’s Gary Roman (4-4, 3RBI), Tom DiGregorio and Craig Michaud (3RBI) had 3 hits apiece; Laquan (Fu) Gray, Rick Knierim (3RBI), Matt Walsh (3RBI), Bob Howlett, Dennis Maluchnik and Ellan Ben-Hayon had 2 hits each.

Suspenders 18, Echo Tap 17 Suspenders edged Echo Tap & Grille in 8 innings. Echo Tap & Grille jumped out to a 4-run lead, only to have Suspenders answer to take a 12-4 lead after 2 innings – scoring all 12 runs while recording only 1 batted out. Down to their last out with 2 men on base, Dr. Rob Wallace cracked a 3-run HR to tie the game in the 7th. Suspenders held Echo scoreless in the top of the 8th. Rick Gregorio would single in the winning run for the dramatic walk-off victory. Carl Herman, Matt Greenblatt, and Pat Peterpaul each had 4hits while Bob Duglosz, Rick Gregorio, and Brad Steele added 3 hits apiece. Leading Echo Tap & Grille was Chris Paternostro with 2 HRs while Joe Sheridan and Eddie Engram each went 3 for 4. Tom Renna, Lloyd Haymes and Dave P Handleman were 2-for-3.
