Deegan Roofing 17, Rocky’s Bar 2 Winning pitcher John Deitch (2 hits); Ron Patterson (HR) and John Segledi (each 3-for-3); Damon Roth (2 HR), Billy Aumenta, Donnie Perkins, Charlie Collins and Nick Mennona (2 hits apiece). Rocky’s Barmen – Laquan (Fu) Gray (2-for-2) and Rick Knierim (2-for-3).

Echo Tap & Grille 22, K-Squad 17 The scored was tied heading into the 6th inning. Leading the Tapsters John Dudek (4-for-4, sac fly), pitcher Dave P Handleman (4-for-5), Chad Eisenberger (3-for-5), and Greg Thomas (3-for-4).

Thirsty Turtle 34, Car Revolution 14 Thirsty Turtles Bats (34 hits) – Jim Capizzi (3 hits, his first HR, 6 RBI), Tom Klein (2 HRs, 5 RBI), Carl Gamba (5-for-5, 4 RBI, hit for the cycle), John Fiore (4-hit night), and additional HRs by Roy Alexander and Steve Owens.

AJ Jersey 13, Suspenders 12 Both teams converted multiple double plays. AJ Jersey erupted with 8 runs to take a 13-7 lead after 6 innings. Suspenders scored 5 in the 7th inning but left runners on 1st and 3rd. It featured an excellent play from AJ Jersey’s shortstop,Alan Dente and fantastic pitching by Mario Fastiggi. Suspenders – Brad Steele (3-for-4, 3b, 1R, 1RBI); Nick Meltzer, Pat Peterpaul, Gregg Hershfeld, Dave Reid and Joe Michael (2 hits each). AJ Jersey – Vinnie Cordaro, Alan Dente, Chris Morrison, Don Sheey and Rob Farin with 4 hits apiece while Fastiggi contributed 3 hits.

Douglas VW 19, Angry Joe’s 9 Leading Douglas – Lou Rivera (4 hits, HR); multiple hits byAl Genova, Carmelo Garcia, Dan Righetti, Luke Nacca, Mike Hoffmann and Hector Munoz. Farlan Alusik collected 2 big hits and was the scoop king at 1st base. Justin Doyle shut down leftfield. Winning pitcher – Rich Gaul. Angry Joe’s/Tad Pools – Tim Mulhall (3 hits), Matt Kasper and Tom Korzenski (2 hits apiece), and Steve D’Amato (HR).

Rocky’s Bar & Grill 18, Echo Tap 3 Rocky’s jumped early and stayed ahead. For Echo Tap – Joe Sheridan (2-for-2), Dave Handleman and Deuce Brown (1-for-1). Rocky’s Greg Solomon and Rick Knierim (both 2-for-3), Larry Pacifico (2-for-3, 2-2B, 4 RBI), Dave Grandmaison (2-for-3, 3RS, 2RBI), Dave Martorano (1-for-3, 3RBI), Bob Howlett (3-for-3, 3RBI, 2RS) and Craig Michaud (2-for-2, 2RBI).

Deegan 16, Phenom Boyz 10 Deegan maintained a lead throughout. Scott Mugele and Roc Sarna led the charge with 3 hits each. Ron Patterson and Charlie Collins each launched timely HRs, while Gus Alvarez, Mike Juchnik, Marty Bernstein and John Segledi added 2 hits apiece.
