WESTFIELD –The cast and crew of the Westfield High School Theatre Department productions of Antigone and

Sunday In The Park With George were recognized with twenty-one Montclair State University “Foxy Award” Nominations for Outstanding Achievement in High School Theatre.The winners were announced at a live, in-person ceremony at Montclair State University on May 20.

The fall production of Antigone received ten nominations in the Elevated Language Play category, including: Outstanding Production, Outstanding Acting Ensemble, Outstanding Performance by an Actor (Skyler Lipkind), Outstanding Performance by anActress (Cara Cogan), Outstanding Achievement by a Student Costume Technician (Suzanna Rogers), Outstanding Acheivement in Contemporary Costume Design (Gina Klemm, Stacey Shepherd, Suzanna Rogers), Outstanding Achievement by a Student Lighting Technician (Keira Redmond), Outstanding Acheivement in Makeup Design (Andie Lehman), Outstanding Achievement in Hair and Wig Design (Andie Lehman) and The Ingenuity in Direction of a Play Award (Daniel Devlin).

Additionally, the Spring 2023 production of Sunday In The Park With George” received eleven nominations in the musical category, including: Outstanding Production, Outstanding Acting Ensemble, Outstanding Performance by an Actor (Evan Leone), Outstanding Performance by an Actress (Bella Jarecki), Outstanding Performance by a Student Costume Technician (Hanna Stavin), Outstanding Achievement in Period/Fantasy Costume Design (Gina Klemm, Stacy Shepherd, Teresa Dudzinski), Outstanding Achievement by a Student Hair and Wig Designer (Taylor Zinner, Georgia Whitman), Outstanding Acheivement in Scenic Design (Roy Chambers and Jack Frankola), Outstanding Acheivement by a Student Scenic Design Technician (crew) and Outstanding Achivement in the Direction of a Musical (Daniel Devlin.)
