Deegan 14, Kenilworth VFW 10 Kenilworth VFW led 8-2 going into the 5th. Roofer Tom Donnelly (3B, 22), John Rachko (3-3). Kenilworth VFW – Bobby D’Meo and Greg Hartnett (3 hits apiece).

Awnings 17, NJ Govt’l Services 10 Awnings pitcher Frank Green (34), Billy Hillyer (2 doubles, 3B), Rich Traub (2-4, HR, 3 RBI); Bruce Crawford (3 RBI), Rich Polonitza, Rick Demsey, Tom Beninato, and John Campanella (2 hits each); Mike Carnevale (HR), Jerry Isolda (3B, stellar defense). G-men – Tomas Cruz, Joe Hrubash and John Llano (3 hits); Steve Falco, Rich Conklin, Joe Attanasi, Frank Verducci, and Geno Raisley (2 hits).

Swan Hotel 23, Deegan Roofing 6 Doug Fischer stifled the Deegan bats. Brian Latham, Bernie Maguire, Nick Russo, James Nardello, Marty Marks and Fischer (3-for-3). Deegan – Art Paradise and Lou Balasteros (2 hits).

Linwood II 30, AJ Jersey 19 Bob Glassman, Steve Miscia and Bill Buteau each had 4 hits.

Yogi’s Boy 2, Awnings Galore 1 The Yogis’Boys scored once in the 7th and 1 in the 8th. Yogi’s had 4 hits – two a combination of doubles by Bill Vanderstreet and Rich Pitonzo in the 8th. Defense – Dennis Watson, Jerry Riepe, Anardo Calderon, Jim Killeen, Rich Kovach and Steve Ferro backed up pitcher Tom Lombardi. Shadesters – Rich Traub, Frank Green and Jerry Isolda (2 hits each); John Campanella and Bruce Crawford added a double.

Debellis 16, Kenilworth VFW 14 The Vets – Greg Hartnett (4 hits), Don Montefusco (3 hits).
