WESTFIELD — The Westfield Service League (WSL) Thrift and Consignment shops has gifts available for Mother’s Day. The shops sell a wide selection of women’s tops, bags, scarves, dresses, beachwear, jewelry and housewares, including platters, wine glasses, bric-a-brac and table linens.
Starting on Tuesday, April 30, both shops will conduct a raffle for a Mother’s Day basket full of small items for every woman. Shoppers are invited to come in from April 30 to Thursday, May 9, and fill out a raffle form — one for each shop with purchase.
The winning tickets for the raffles will be drawn on May 9 during Girls’ Night Out, when the WSL shops will be open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. There will be live music, compliments of the New Jersey Workshop for the Arts, plus light refreshments and a complimentary piece of jewelry with purchase while supplies last.
The WSL shops are located at 114 Elmer Street, Westfield, and are open Tuesday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information about donations or volunteering, call (908) 233-2530 for the Thrift Shop or (908) 232-1223 for the Consignment Shop.
