TheAL Johnson High School baseball team plated six runs in the second inning en route to a 9-0 shutout of the Roselle Catholic Lions on April 17. Winning pitcher Nick Donofrio recorded 11 strikeouts. and Justin Zdeb went 4-for-4 with two RBI, while Rob Gallagher went 2-for-3, with a walk, three runs scored and an RBI.

Sean Patterson tripled, walked, scored twice and had two RBI. Dan Metroka doubled and had three RBI. Vince Cilento singled, stole a base and scored. Anthony Minniti, Brody Gulbin and Mike Schelhorn each scored once.
