GARWOOD – Garwood Partnership for Arts and Culture is holding a Poetry Festival in celebration of April’s Poetry month next weekend, April 20 and 21.The Garwood Library (411 3rd Avenue) is hosting Saturday’s event at 11:30. This event is for all audiences. Six local poets submitted their poetry to GPAC to be considered and will read their poems; Victoria Archer, Anton Gruenewald, Marc Lazarow,Victoria Losa, Miller Schulman, and Leona Suefert.
On Sunday, 12 NJ poets are reading their poems at the Crossroads (78 North Ave.) at 12 p.m. The poets are Robin Rosen Chang, Victoria Archer, Nat Bottingheimer, James Cody, Moriah Cohen, Tina Kelley, Liz Kingsley,Ayla Miller, Carol Nolde, Theta Pavis, Erik Roth, and Michael Young. Sunday’s poetry at the Crossroads event is intended for adult audiences.
