The Jonathan Dayton High School Bulldogs softball team improved to 5-0 with a 5-2 victory over the AL Johnson Crusaders on April 9. Winning pitcher Lila Carroll tossed a twohitter, while striking out nine Crusaders and walking three.

Crusader Addison Meyer went 1for-2 with a walk and run scored. Madden Puerari also went 1-for-2 with a walk and an RBI. Liz Fitzharris walked and scored once. Lacey Vill had an RBI. Pitcher Cassie Conforti recorded eight strikeouts and walked none.

Dayton’s Kate Buckley doubled, singled, scored once and had two RBI. Charley Badalamenti doubled, singled and scored twice. Angela Gatto had an RBI single and scored once. Bella Pintado singled and scored once. Carroll doubled and had two RBI.
